A minimum of a BS in engineering is mandatory with five years of experience in
the planning and direction of the engineering and maintenance functions in a heavy
industry environment. Experience should include basic facilities and equipment, troubleshooting,
repair, modification, and installation. Capital equipment planning, appropriation
requests, and vendor selection experience is also required. Additional responsibilities
would be coordination of outside contractors, staffing, and departmental budgets.
