Maintenance Engineer

There are two basic areas that are needed and they are generally grouped as follows:

Electrical Engineer.......... Mechanical Engineer

Work with the maintenace department to optimize equipment processing, upgrades, troubleshooting, repairs, facilities maintenance, and modifications. Maintenance for plant controls such as PLC's and DCS's is required for many facilities. Other duties such as: capital equipment and project investigation, justification, and selection from vendors on a project basis is needed. These positions require heavy manufacturing experience in a continuing process environment with metals production ideal. Experience can be in the primary area (Melting/Casting) or the secondary area (Hot Rolling/Cold Rolling/Finishing). Working with unionized crafts people required in some situations. This type of experience is similar to both areas, electrical or mechanical, and BSEE/BSME degree is preferred.
